F-CPU is not dead : it is stable since 2000 and some source code exists. The VHDL tool chain problems are slowly solved and new software is written : the goal of designing a microprocessor only with Free Software is not utopic anymore. Some french F-CPU contributors will present a few architectural aspects, some code examples and the available (incomplete) software suite.
